Robert E. Schneider, 80 of Eau Claire passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Robert was born on June 30, 1937 to Edward and Anna (Hengst) Schneider. He married Violet Murphy on April 25, 1959.
Robert is survived by his sons, Richard Schneider of Eau Claire, Patrick (Janet) Schneider of Mobile, AL, Michael Schneider of Eau Claire, and Brian Schneider of Eau Claire; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley (Neil) Timm of Eau Claire; brother, Edward Jr. (Donna) Schneider of Eau Claire; and many other relatives.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Schneider; sister, Gladys; and two brothers, Floyd and Kenneth.
Memorial services will be Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Smith Funeral Chapel with Deacon Larry Agema officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
