  1. I indirectly worked with Roger at the county and he was always such a delight to run into. Always a smile on his face and so friendly. He will truly be missed. My sympathies are with his family and friends during this difficult time.

  2. Roger was a newer face for me in the courthouse and I didn’t know him personally. I thank God for people like Roger who serve in the military, and thank you for your support of him while he was serving. My deepest sympathy for your loss.

  3. Our sincere condolences to everyone that was a part of Roger’s life. In the difficult days and nights ahead may the many wonderful memories of his life give you comfort. Something we have personally found to be of great comfort are the thoughts expressed in the Bible at John 5:28 “all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus) voice and come out “. May God Jehovah comfort you during this sad time in your life.

  4. My condolences to everyone in the Ruf family. I am so sorry to hear about Roger.

He was the best friend a guy could ask for. We did everything together growing up. I lost half of my childhood memories with Roger. He remembered some things and I remembered others and together it was complete. We could sit around the fire reminiscing for hours. Roger could really tell stories. I was looking forward to hearing them again this summer. I’ll cherish all the memories I do have.

Roger was so giving and helpful to so many people. He was a genuine, talented, good man and I will miss him so much. I will stop by when I am back in July.
