Venus C. Myers, 36, of Eau Claire passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Marshfield Medical
Center in Marshfield.
Venus was born on February 21, 1985, to Gary and Patricia (Grimmer) Cooper in Milwaukee. Venus was
a talented musician. The notes she played and the words she sang changed her life and the life of
everyone who heard her. She was a bursting colorful rainbow in how she presented herself both
physically and interpersonally. She spent her life working to serve others. Every person Venus touched
was positively impacted in some way.
Venus is survived by her 3 children, Christy (15), Ace (14), and Makenzie (10); her ex-husband, Matthew;
sister, Sarah; brother, Christopher; niece, Ebony; nephews, Eric, and Kyle. Additionally, a host of other
friends and loved ones cherish their memories of Venus.
Venus was preceded in death by her father Gary and her grandmother, Rebecca.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 7pm at Smith Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be
two hours prior to the service at Smith Funeral Chapel.
