Lou Ann M. (Galstad) Best, 64 of Altoona passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Prairie Pointe in Altoona.
A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Chapel on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. A graveside service will be held at Coon Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Smith Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
I am very sad that Lou Ann has left us. As a classmate, I enjoyed her positive and happy personality, and valued her friendship. I know it was a long health struggle for her and now she is at peace. My sympathy to all of her loved ones.
Sorry to hear of Lou Ann’s passing . We went to High School together and were roommates in LaCrosse for several years. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
